Well from what I have seen this year the Braves have players are in it to win. They have played very well. RTR!

Amazing they haven't been forced to drop the references to Indians.   

The Cleveland Indians have already changed their mascot to "Guardians."
Cincinnati Reds and Atlanta Braves reference native Americans which is, to some, offensive.
San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Angels is offensive to Milwaukee Brewers and atheist.
Milwaukee Brewers is offensive to the Padres and Angels but the Nationals love them.
Kansas City Royals is offensive to peasants and criminals.
Pittsburgh Pirates is offensive to Royals, Guardians, Nationals, Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers and other "law abiding" individuals.
Texas Rangers is offensive to Pirates, Nationals, and others who may be inclined to side-step the law.
Arizona Diamondbacks are offensive to everyone.
Detroit Tigers is offensive to Blue Jays, Orioles and Cardinals.
Blue Jays, Orioles and Cardinals are offensive to Tigers and other mammals.
Boston Red Sox and Chicago White Sox are offensive to naturalists.
New York Yankees are offensive to people from the south (and probably the west too).

Now to the NFL

New England Patriots is offensive to those who support the "left" politically.
Washington Commanders is offensive to anyone who isn't "left" leaning.
Cleveland Browns and Kansas City Chiefs is offensive to native Americans.
Las Vegas Raiders, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Minnesota Vikings, and Pittsburgh Steelers is offensive to law abiding folks.
Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Cincinnati Bengals, Jacksonville Jaguars and Carolina Panthers are offensive to Los Angeles Rams, Indianapolis Colts, Buffalo Bills because those predators kill and eat those non-predator animals.
Dallas Cowboys is offensive to Cleveland Browns and Kansas City Chiefs because, well, "cowboys and indians."
Green Bay Packers is offensive to Raiders, Buccaneers, Steelers and Vikings.
New York Jets is offensive to anyone who supports the "Green" energy agenda.
Los Angeles Chargers is offensive to those whom are financially responsible.
And I don't know anyone who likes the San Francisco 49ers.

I'm sure I could go on and on but I think I'll quit with that.  Don't want to offend anyone by posting the obviously ridiculous...

OT, I think there was some discussion about that a few years back, but when either Atlanta representatives or MLB reps (can't remember which) reached out to the Native American community, they found that the resentment to the nickname just wasn't there.

Howdy folks.  I'm not leaving work early today.  I have a guy coming out to meet me about some equipment that I ordered back in the summer. It is supposed to ship next month and he will be sending a guy or two out to help get it set up and running.  He's supposed to meet me at the Gate 9 Visitor's Center at 1 this afternoon.  I am planning on meeting Mrs. Nalt for lunch this Thursday though... Plus, since the boys are on fall break next week I'm gonna take a week off and we will be going to Kentucky to see some places...

This is fall break for a lot of the schools in the area, and it seems like everyone with kids is on vacation this week.
