Now that the entire world is picking Tennessee to win and Tennessee alums are talking about their cigars I’m feeling much better about Saturday. The anti-rat poison might work well in our favor.

Tyler Harrell (the speedy transfer from Louisville) has practiced all week, and could contribute against the Vols.

The last time there was this much hype about Bama's opponent was in 2015. Georgia was favored over Bama and it wasn't even close. Bama stomped them 38-10 in the rain. Jamos and I were at that game. We didn't mind the weather at all.

 Cool

I remember pics from that trip that you shared.  There were railroad tracks, lots of tents, and two very wet guys with grins ear-to-ear.

You betcha! To this day, that was the most fun I've ever had at a football game. Jamos was unmercifully ragging the Georgia fans as they were filing out in the 3rd quarter.  Laughing

Morning, all! It feels like October in Tuscaloosa today. My car said 46 degrees when I went to the pool this morning - it wasn’t easy to get out of my warm car and go swim.

I bought a pork shoulder for tomorrow. I’ll be up early to get it in the green egg and get a run in before work, so it should be nice and pull apart ready by game time. Open invitation to all CRS contributors!

They're giving out 28 degrees a couple mornings next week for us up here in the north part of the state.  That's mighty cool for mid-October.

An old botanist in Oxford, MS told me years ago to expect the first freeze in north Mississippi within a week of October 20th each year.  He's passed on now, but his wisdom remains.

It's forecast for the mornings of the 19th and 20th, so he's spot on.

It's 44 here now. I hate to see the cold weather coming. I'm not a fan of frigid.  Undecided

Good morning.
Love this pic.  But I wonder when the refs will start calling facemask penalties against the ball carrier.
