#5 - Roy Upchurch is my favorite. Andrew Zow was a good one also. He came in and gave us some life when we really sucked, but I loved Upchurch's hard nose running and grit.

The Cherokee Purple tomatoes we got out late could use the rain.   Our purple hull peas have pretty much dried up, but we had more than we knew what to do with.  We've had 5-6 meals with them, put up about 25 pints in the freezer, and gave away an incredible amount to 8 or 10 friends.

I'm in SC and was supposed to do training for an agent Thursday, but I'll be postponing that until I come back later in September. The track of Idalia will impact the Upstate, so I'll be bugging out for P'cola for the Labor Day weekend. Everybody stay safe.

Lord have mercy at the Bama players who wore #4! Joey Jones, Tyrone Prothro, Mark Barron, Marquis Maze, T.J. Yeldon, Eddie Jackson and Jerry Jeudy. I apologize if I'm leaving anyone out. What a list. My sentimental favorite will have to be Prothro with how talented he was and everything he's gone through. I have an autographed picture of 'The Catch' against Southern Mississippi.

I was at "The Catch" game, as well as the Florida game with the bad injury.  He was in impact athlete at a point that we didn't have them spread all over the roster like Saban's teams.

But I have to go with Mark Barron. He was a hard nosed defender!

Howdy folks.  Much cooler temps yesterday and today than we have been having.  I'll take it but wasn't complaining either.

@ Doc, Runt and I drove out to Section, AL this past Saturday to see what vegetables the Mennonites had to offer.  They had quite a variety of various things. Good looking veggies too.

Yeah, they are pretty close.  There was a group of them that bought a few hundred acres in 2021 and settled in.  I've heard they are looking for even more property nearby to purchase.  Really nice folks.
