This is a 2003, so I am not positive about it.  But the older ones I used to use had the same Cummings diesel engine as dodge trucks.

How did you like the rig?
Nice set up. Did my PM not go through about core drilling?

Yes I did, but you didnt comment on the CME-75
How many feet of pipe can it carry. Maximum depth?

Totally depends on the geology.  I've been past 300' with a 75 in California before.  But usually if you're going past 100 - 150 or so you go ahead and bring in a bigger rig for speed reasons.

We are using 8.25" augers.  I have spun up to 12.25" with a 75 before.

Really. Is that unit on a truck? Back right up to hole? Price of a 75?

Yep truck mounted, back up to the hole, drop the outriggers, put the mast up and start spinning.

Prices vary depending on age and condition.  They bought this one used with 7000 hours for a 1/4 M.

I imagine a new one runs of 500.  Plus the tooling.  30k in tooling easy.

In a couple of weeks I will probably be on the geoprobe.   Sad

They'll put the girl behind the auger rig.

So those are levelers, not outriggers, in the rear? Price tag?

Primary purpose is for leveling, yes.  But they are considered "outriggers".  Smaller geoprobes do not have them at all.  The 7720 is the high end of these things.

I think they paid around 150k for it, new.  Good little machines.
