GM.

I cleared one side of the pond yesterday and mowed most of the back.  It's nice back there, still an infinite amount of work to do.  I am now bouncing around to 4 pacles on the property.

The weather is supposed to be great in the south this weekend. Any special plans for anyone?

I have added a rose garden, wildflower garden, blueberry garden, and perennial gardens around the property. In addition to the gardens, shrubs, and planters around the house, and a large vegetable garden and fruit trees, it has become a pain and a real expense. I buy mulch by the dump truck loads. Too much HGTV will kill you.

Lol, well my property has 5 years of overgrowth in most places and 20 years + in some of the harder to get to pacles.  I literally will likely never be done clearing.  I enjoy it though, it's not like work most of the time.  The pond is nice, this is the first time we have had one side of it completely clear.

I have a condo here, so no yard work to speak of. My wife and oldest daughter are coming next week so I'll play Hazel getting ready for them.

Sounds nice. I enjoy working on the property too. I can stop and take in the views and rejuvenate. But I am just starting to realize that I will get old someday and maybe need to start downsizing on the future work load.

My grandfather is over 90 and still tends his farm.  180 acres.

"Morning 2." The woman is reading my post over my shoulder and laughing at me because I pay the village idiots to do half my work now.

"Good morning, everyone except the night clerk at Days Inn."

I had no web access at 5AM, so we had a talk.  Cat slept in.

Days?  You should have stayed at the holiday inn express.

GM.

So are you there to see a son or daughter?  You must be proud, UNC is a good school.

My son graduated from UNC and works here on campus.

I probably won't (be allowed to) stay here again.  Grin Cheesy Grin Grin Cheesy
