I hate the bicyclists too. There have been more than a few times when I wanted to share more of my car and less of the road with them.

Amen, I live in the rural part of the county so the bike nuts come out here to ride with less traffic.    Angry

If a bike group ever decides to ride down 174 they will certainly be killed.  Never seen one out here.

Smitty, I just had a great mental image of you driving your tractor down 174 with the cyclists back up for about a mile whilst having to share the road with you.  Grin

LoL

One time I was on a base and we were moving the bobcat over to the IDW yard, it was a few miles so it took quite a while.  On our way we were passed by a group of soldiers doing PT.  I guess you had to be there, but it was pretty funny watching them coming from behind and then pass us.

That has a bit of irony to me. Back in the 60's my family and I would travel from Montgomery to Hattiesburg, Ms, where both sets of my grandparents lived. In the summer, we would always get trapped behind a military convoy heading to Camp Shelby. Back then, everything was pretty much 2 lane highways. Took forever to pass them.

I'm going to home depot for 2 items.

A magnet for picking up nails, and a repaclement 12 volt cigarette lighter plug with decent gauge wires.

My home depot sucks big time.  I will be surprised if I come home with one of the said items.

You guys need to learn to improvise if Lowe's or Home Depot are out of something:

hammer--brick
storm door--plywood
nails---gorilla glue
wall outlet--extension cord
dead bolt--bungee cord
tool belt--garbage bag

 Cool
