Morning excitement.  I saw a school ("pod" actually) of dolphins offshore just a while ago, grabbed my camera and snorkeling gear, and went out to see them.  After 2 tries one approached me, confirmed that he was NOT WV, and I took his pic.  This is it, 1 hour old.  Cool.  

That is so awesome.  Me and the girl and planning on making the trip some time, no joke.

As far as your search for WV I don't think you will find him in the water. I would be checking nearby fields for a two legged jackazz.

As far as your search for WV I don't think you will find him in the water. I would be checking nearby fields for a two legged jackazz. 

1.  2-legged jackazz, LOL.

2.  5' from this one.  A mother and baby (calf) were about 10' away.  Others not so close.

3.  Honeymooning couple just arrived.  Not a great pacle for such (no ac).  He has a crummy beard.  She has half a swimsuit.  I'll try for a pic for ya.  Let's just say their kids won't go hungry.

1.  It had 2 parts and all vitals were mostly covered.  I wanted to ask about her mother.

2.  That's the closest I've been to any dolphins since I swam with some in the 70's.  Usually here we just take tourists to see them from a boat.  I hadn't tried to swim with them before, but it was a good opportunity.  And you know our motto at Alabama: given the chance, take it.

Believe me, SC, both halves were fully there.  I think maybe the dolphins saw her and followed all the way from the mainland. 

I heard one dolphin say, "eek ek, feed my baby, ek eeek."
