Our boys have been beating the streams and creeks to death, fishing for about a week. I finally asked this morning where all the fish were. Turns out they have been giving them to their girlfriend's Mommas. You always wish a little better for the next generation.

I bet those are good  kin to garlic , leeks and onions ... o'yeah 

That is them. The woman spreads newspaper on the floor and cleans them for hours (cut off roots and folage) while watching TV.

They look a lot like wild onions and I love me some wild onions. Definitely springtime delicacies.

Biggest challenge this morning is maneuvering through Charlottesville traffic to Orvis.  I need some weedless gotchas for the Bonefish in Belize.  I'll be there in 2 months (checks watch).

You seem to do well for yourself.  Want to invest in a land clearing company out of birmingham?  Just want to give you the opportunity on the ground level.  We are going to be huge.

Plenty of overgrown land in Alabama.  Dont say I didnt give you a chance.

I have an old buddie who is VP of a construction company.  I bet I can get all his work to start, may not be much though.

Barbed wire?  Hmmm.  Interesting simile.

The white ones with just a hint of pink are best where I fish, but I also use a custom shrimp (tiny with black, plastic eyes).  Bones are picky.
