whew .. what a day   Grin
glad ya'll got on a few there Chech , sorry 2S , sure is a BIG  moon out there tonight
I saw plenty of it heading east bound for the last couple of hours, maybe it was working against you

good day for us , but wore out pretty bad , 2 hours turned into 14 real fast but it was worth it
friend called and want to meet south of nawlins ... put the knees in the breeze and headed down
good company , good fish , great time ... gas prices suck

have a good night everyone

back at the dock ... the few we kept to release in the grease , but many fewer than we let swim

Wow that one Red has a lot of spots, nice

Catfish can live in about any mudhole. I visited a ranch in Texas that had a large bug zapper (with the bottom removed) hanging over the catfish pond. When the bugs get zapped they drop in the water and feed the fish.

I dont like catfish, but that's what I am hearing.  I just got to the other side of it for the first time.  It sort of lagoons out down the fence line.  I stopped because there is a huge oak, like the biggest oak I've ever seen down there and it has some dead limbs that are ready to fall and kill someone.

You can kinda/sorta trim your trees with your rifle. Shoot the limbs and when heavy winds (snows here) come, the limbs will fall.

I have a friend that had a built pond and stocked it awhile back and the state helped him do it
they gave him some fish and told him how to manage the pond I believe
if I'm not mistaken he put some bream in it
I think the only draw back was the state guy that handled it was a aubie   Wink

I know we bought 10,000 live fingerling redfish from a company in Texas to release in
one of our fishing areas
I know you don't need reds but it wasn't that expensive and they trucked them to us and everything .

BTW ...
I stopped and took a picture for Chech , and yes that's a watermelon on the tank  Grin

Preacher, have you ever gone to a chiropractor? In spite of criticism  by skeptics, they do wonders for a bad back.

HOME.

It took 12.5 hours, but we made it safely.  Thanks all for the best wishes.  Thanks especially for the pics of the cats watching the fisherman (YellowPup) and water tower (XBama).  Great bunch of redfish too.

BTW, XBama, I know the Head of the Grand Bay Water Board.  He told me they considered all sorts of options on the watermelon image, some deemed too suggestive (racist), and settled on that one.  I like it; GB has quite a history with melons.  Thanks.

Enjoyed the UNC and Duke games.  My lady friend was screaming at the end of the Duke game (as we drove through Jackson, TN).
