Well I hope the rig gets found. I also have the weatherman's report, no rain today. I hope we didn't use it all up.  RTR!

I haven't seen Cat around the past few days. Disappeared in the jungle looking for dope? Found a sunken treasure chest and hiding out until he gets some booty? Rum runners sold him into slavery to a bar in west Africa? Got a tribal cheiftain's daughter knocked up and busy planning the wedding? Finally was presented with the bill for a months lodging, meals, and booze and is scraping barnacles of the hulls of the Belizean Navy? Locked up on a trumped up immigration violations for sneaking an animal through customs? Natives put him in a pot and boiled him alive, for correcting spelling and grammar?

 Huh?

Probably all of the above. By the way, I would love to see the Belizean Navy.

What is this fascination with rain?  When it rains hard or storms we dont work, a lot of people dont work, which means things dont get done and workers dont get paid, not good for the economy, it can rain at night.  TIA

We thought all these things about you a few weeks ago. My guess is he has some planting to do before he departs for home.  Grin

I agree. Quit praying for rain while I still have a roof on my house. This year rain comes with hail, damaging wind, etc.

The 'raining only at night' idea seems like one that could get traction. My thought was changing the pattern so it rains up, rather than down, but ball fields would still get wet. "Only at night" would allow for less loss due to evaporation as is the case when the sun is out in the heat of the day. Some people may say an afternoon shower cools things off, but it really only makes the humidity go up and adds to the misery index.

Now we must discuss a plan for getting this enacted. I am busy with planting (it's probably best to leave my name out of this), but a petition may be a good first step. Coach Hank Crisp is interested in civic duty type projects so I nominate him to get the ball rolling. He lives in B'Ham and has time to spend at the malls collecting signatures. I hope this helps.

Excellent.  Please have Hank make this his priority.

I think it's a bit of an effort for him to get on and he just hasnt done so.  He'll come back re-energized.  He also returns to the states I think tomorrow or soon, or was it the end of July?  Huh?
