Well, thankfully the missus has yet to call it an "outfit". We haven't donned the cleats yet, but there ain't NO WAY I am letting her clean those things when he gets through. Dirt builds character. I just hope I can get him to stop playing in the dirt or with leaves when he is in the field instead of, you know, TRYING TO GET THE BALL.

You sent your boy to try outs without cleats? He is going to be the last kid picked. What kind of Dad are you?

I can't tell for certain, but it looks like most of the nasty weather went south of you, WV.  True?

As of last evening there was activity in Southern KY. But aside from warnings in the western half of WV, I haven't heard of anything dangerous here.  The ground has been saturated by earlier snowfalls and rain, so I'd guess flash flooding to be the usual suspect in WV.

Well to be fair, the "tryout" was nothing more than lining up about 30-35 4-6 year olds and letting them hit the ball off the tee. This required A LOT of time, in making sure they made contact with the ball and not the tee or the ground. That took an hour. He also had another tryout on Tuesday where all they did was try to field the ball. When he actually starts playing, then the cleats will be donned.

BTW, do you have financial aid for charm school?
