"Morning"
I spent the afternoon and evening at the gun show.  Fortunately this one has a big-screen TV, so I watched the game contest loss.

I bought a few good knives; nothing great.  Maybe today I'll get that rare German hunting sword!
I'm trying like heck not to put a sexual twist on that. I may be growing up.  Sad

Morning boys. Little cbbama had his first tee ball practice Thursday (Yes WV, he wore cleats). Got to work with him on his catching, but was stopping ground balls pretty well. He doesn't have a very strong arm, so he can't throw it far, but at least he wants to throw it overhand this year (last year he kept wanting to throw underhand). He also isn't going to be a strong hitter, but at least he was making contact and getting up to the pitcher's mound. He ain't gonna be Chipper Jones, but he is having fun, and that is all that matters.

I am glad to see Little cb has cleats this week. Have you got him a glove yet or are you going to do that next week? That could be his problem catching the ball.

Nah, I figured I'd toughen him up a little first by catching bare handed and taking a few grounders to the face.  Wink

Yep, glove and cleats, just waiting on the league to get him his jersey and cap. And just so you would know, the cleats have dirt on them and I have refused to let them be cleaned. The woman orders me around on everything else, but this I put my foot down about.

Practice with Little cb every chance you get. Even just tossing the ball around in the yard helps. He will surprise you how fast he picks it up with a little practice and help from Dad.

I'm heading out, on the road for 2 days.  I'll check in tonight (from somewhere --as far as I get -- in Tennessee).  RTR.

Has anyone discussed a CRS pick 'em contest for the NCAA basketball tourney?

Can someone other than SC or Smitty set it up? Smitty hasn't been on here in months and SC's presence has been scarce lately as well.

I doubt it. We could start a group on ESPN or YAHOO. Those are easy to set up.
