What a nightmare. Losing one roof is bad enough, but bumper to bumper has to have the sux. At first I was like Shocked
Then I was Huh?
But when I heard you survived the night I was like

I just wasted my 11,000th post down in Ferguson.

Congrats anyway. How'd you fare with the weather?

Me?  Just drizzles; more to come today - all day.
Another record high temperature yesterday.

Thunderstorm here, but looks like it will clear out soon, which is good since I have a travel day today.

Morning all. After telling pmull yesterday that I thought little cb's first game would be Thursday, our coach calls the woman late yesterday afternoon "Uh, we have a game at 6 p.m. He needs to be at the ball field at 5:45." (for those of you familiar with the Mobile area, imagine your best Theodore accent). So the woman rushes him out there, managing to get some chicken nuggets into him prior to the game, while I have to hightail it from downtown all the way out to Theodore by 5:45. I get there just before our first batter comes up. Anyway, junior went 1-3 at the plate (would have been 2-3, but couldn't beat out an infield single) and was also thrown out at the plate (of course I blame our third base coach for sending him when our batter barely hit the ball back to the "pitcher"). He didn't have a fielding attempt, which was probably good since he spent most of the time in the field become familiar with the dirt and grass by either picking it up or staring at it.

Little cb went 1-3 which is not bad for his first game. With a little help fron Dad he should be 3-3 next game.

Now about Dad's reporting skills. Rather than talk down about the third base coach you could tell us who won the game and what the score was. Please don't tell me this is one of those leagues that don't keep score.

You know. MW, this morning I was willing to delete a few of your old (meaningless?) posts to give you a re-do of #11,000.  That is, assuming you wanted a re-do.  But then I had to go to work, and after a while you got up to 11,007!

"Sorry I wasn't there for you when needed."  LOL

True, but CNS doesn't have to ride home with these guys in the back seat whining, "Daadddyy, I'm huunngggyy!"

By the way, we lost 13-11 to the Astros. We were down 13-4 going into the last inning and nearly pulled off the come back.

I had to bribe our boys to play baseball. They would gather rocks in the outfield and chunk 'em at the infield (older kids).
