Morning all. Nice day here in south Alabama. Tillman's Corner Yankees dropped another heartbreaker 14-11 last night to the Reds. Little cbbbama was 1-2 at the plate.

For the most part. I am still trying to get him to remember that as soon as he makes contact he has take off for first. He kind of hesitates a little; I think he is watching where the ball is going or something. He also plays the outfield mostly, and I am having trouble getting him to understand that if a ball gets past the infield, he has to go get it and not let our shortstop run to the fence to get one, like in one instance last night.

And yes, he is STILL wearing cleats (I thought I would say before pmull or anyone else     )

At least he doesn't run to 3rd, like I've seen some T-ballers do.

Teaching them to get in front of the ball and taking one on the chin, if necessary, is hard to teach. We had to threaten our lil' leaguers with no poontang for a month!
