I woke the eldest girl this morning to answer the phone for me so I could get some Memorial Day mowing done. I was impressed because she wore her t-shirt with our company logo, wore her work boots, and took out a cigar to light. I went to get my work boots,-- already back to sleep! Not the greatest first day on the job, but maybe she is just pacing herself.

BTW, that was a serious box of cigars in Chech's photo. The Padrons are delicacies.They are Nicaraguan since all the good growers left Cuba when Castro took over. But Thurston Howell isn't just throwing money around to show off-- they also can be a good value at $2.30 per, but the Anniversary stuff gets pricey at around $11.  I like their Maduros which run about $3.25 each.

I'm at that running out of gas time of day. Since the game is coming on I've made Irish coffee, but used the inexpensive ET bourbon for it. For a smoke, I'm going with the cigar that put General Cigar Co. on the map-- a macanudo. RTR

Cigars are so yesterday.  
Today it's back to fishing: 1 grouper +3 hogfish, +1 snapper = DINNER.
Aside: barracuda goes to the cooks.

Tomorrow we go inland for a waterfall swim.
