I wonder if OldTider has staked out a spot to get a glimpse of the Queen in her landau carriage today?  Huh? Lots of bobbies on hand but perhaps OldTider can get on his footmen's shoulders for a chance to wave to her. RTR for OldTider.

Virgil Ward with Gypsy (the real one).

This photo is clearly photoshopped.  Those sunfish look greatly exaggerated in size!

BTW, the storm passed by, and at 8:30 I took 2 friends from the mainland fishing.  They're here for 2 nights.  We (they actually) caught 7 tuna in an hour, and we returned to have them cleaned fresh.  I played captain and guide.  Fun.

This is what they used to haul Virgil Ward's fish to the grill. HTH

After the tuna fishing this morning I went out alone and caught Barracuda and jacks.  Then 3 of us went deep-water fishing and caught a pile of Queen Snapper and Vermillion Snapper.  BTW, these aren't the hand-sized Vermillions you catch off Destin.  These are 3-5 lbs.  We will have them for dinner.

Queen Snapper.  One of my favorite deep-water fish.  Just beautiful, no?

The ones on top seem fresh but the eyes on the ones beneath look cloudy (week old?). You've done a lot of stagingfishing today.

The tide should be right for deep-water fishing about 9AM today, so I'll try it after breakfast.  Light rain now, and I hope the clouds from this remain.  It was hot in the sun yesterday.  Wish me luck!
