I just went out in the boat to catch bait.  If needed, those of you along the coast, I can be there in 29 hours.

LOL.  
No, but a story.  I took the young snapper and grunts we caught, put them in a bait bucket, and extended it off the pier in water about 5-6' deep.  They will stay alive there until we need them tomorrow.  
BUT, about dark I noticed the bucket moving, and walked out to investigate.  Two Nurse Sharks, one just a baby and one moderately big, were nosing the bucket in an attempt to get at the bait.  They kept bumping it, and it'd tilt over, then right itself.  The bait stayed safe, but the sharks terrorized the little fish for an hour.  The little guys should really hate it tomorrow when they get to meet Mr. Grouper.

I know a guy who kinda got off torturing small animals (and fish). You often see that behavior included in a serial killer's profile. Don't be this guy:

Hopefully the coastal rain has stopped.  "Belize to 2, Belize to 2, come in 2."

The Brown Booby is back on the pier.  I take that as a good sign that the rain will end along the Gulf coast.

Gooood Mornin CRSers...looks like another dreary day on tap for Sowega.   I've only had about 2 tenths of an inch of rain so far here at my house 40 miles NW of Tallahassee but there's at least a 50 percent chance of rain everyday for the next 7 days.  I feel bad for you 2...If it had rained as much up river from me as it has over your way I'd be moving out today...hoping you and yours continue to stay safe on high ground and that y'all get to see some sunshine soon.

I was thinking about you, Leroy, hoping you were getting some of this. We've had enough of a break overnight, to where the creek by my daughter's house has subsided. I'm thankful for that, but the heavy stuff has kicked up again. Guess I'll be watching the weather all day again.

We are in the middle of a mini-break, but the radar shows plenty more coming. Mike Seidel from the Weather Channel is in P'cola and said this system is going to hang around all week.

it's raining worse here now than yesterday  , wind howling , power going off and on off and on , limbs falling , patio furniture taking a walk through the yard and still dark outside ... hope to hit the water soon !

our club had a tournament yesterday and several people fished
some nice fish caught ...

It seems as though it's raining everywhere. I can't play golf so I'm channel surfing, trying to find something sportsworthy to watch. I find Stony Brook at LSU baseball (Super regional) and it's been postponed until 7pm tonight because of the rain. I then jump to NC State at Florida. They go to the 3rd when it starts raining. They are covering the field so I go to the French Open tennis tournament and yep, you guessed it, they are in a rain delay. So now I'm forced to watch the brats drive around in circles. Maybe a fight will break out. D*&% rain!!!

Apparently, we are getting a little Booby luck. We haven't had rain since last night. However the forecast calls for an 80% chance of rain today. X and CB country (Mobile) is already getting it again. You guys save this Booby on your computer and maybe we can chase the rain away.

I noticed a line of storms moving your way yesterday. I was hoping you would get more out of that. Oh well, today's another day.
