GM. Tropics warming up a little. Not much too worry about, though. Chris will move away from land and the depression over Fl is not favorable for development at this point. How's the weather your way, Chech?

"Good morning, everyone."

Thinking good thoughts your way, Leroy.
Weather here is fine.  The tropical low moved NE of us (over the Caymans now).  The other one is north of us; a nasty one in the western Gulf of Mexico.
I'll bet it's cool and nice in WV.

Below is a series of twitter quotes from Scarbinsky after interviewing Parker McLeod on his radio show this morning.

Quote
Kevin Scarbinsky ‏@KevinScarbinsky
Parker McLeod on Smashmouth: Won't take any other recruiting visits. Solid to Alabama.

Kevin Scarbinsky ‏@KevinScarbinsky
Parker McLeod on Smashmouth: Dad went to Georgia. We were a Bulldog family but not anymore.

Kevin Scarbinsky ‏@KevinScarbinsky
Parker McLeod on Smashmouth: He likes comparisons to Greg McElroy. Hopes to become Alabama starter and win a national title like McElroy.

Kevin Scarbinsky ‏@KevinScarbinsky
Parker McLeod on Smashmouth: Tennessee liked him but he was concerned about possible coaching changes there in the future.

Some things never change in football. Gene Stallings hits the nail on the head with this quote:

Quote
Everyone keeps talking about our game with Miami [in the 1993 Sugar Bowl]. The reason we won against Miami is this: We had the ball 15 minutes more than they did. We ran the ball for 275 yards against Miami. They ran the ball for less than 50 yards. When the game was over, we won. After a game, it may not look good. The alumni may be asking why we are not entertaining them. Let me assure you that our job is to win football games. You win football games by running the ball, stopping the run and being on the plus side of giveaway-takeaways.

Okay, boys, I'll post some underwater pics that I took this morning.  They'll take a while to load.
I went snorkeling on the forereef (deep side of the island).  Lots of cool stuff.

For you, Leroy.

Thanks for the pics Chech and for the prayers EVERYONE here...they put a smile on my face and in my heart.

But otherwise....today has been pretty much a bummer of a day for me.

I feel as good mentally and physically as I've felt in the last 2 or 3 years but my PET Scan results were not what I was hoping for.  The scan found several new spots of increased metabolilc activity that could be metastatic cancer cells.

I have a CT Scan scheduled for a week from Monday and should know a little more about what I'm dealing with and the Doctors will come up with possible treatment options after that.  For now my Doctors are taking a wait and see approach with increased monitoring and testing.  But, I'm expecting that at the very least I will soon be getting more chemotherapy and/or possibly surgery....

And, I will be needing a whole lot more prayers from my friends and family.
