The rain came and went quickly.  Hopefully it's headed your way (if you need it).

I'm in recovery mode today.  What's your plan?

Goooood Mornin Everyone!  Looking like another hot beautiful day here on the river in SoWeGa.  An R&R day sounds nice but I'm afraid my Bride has other plans for me.  Everything in our garden is getting ready at the same time and we've got tomatoes, peppers (cayenne, japeleno, fresno, habenero, banana, red, yellow, and green bell peppers) egg plants (ichiban and black beauty) cucumbers, yellow squash zuchini, and figs...lots and lots of figs...  So, it looks like it's gonna be a day full of canning, pickling, and preserving here at Camp Leroy...

Hoping Y'all have a great day  Cool

Same here, I played (if you can call it that) golf yesterday afternoon and I think today I'm going to do very little, I might go out to the country club and play some gin rummy this afternoon. This morning I've been watching the Swamp People, the way they mess with those gators it's amazing some of them on the show haven't been a casualty. They're entertaining though.

Sounds like a great garden, Leroy.  Enjoy the work.

Leroy, you've gotten me hungry, too.  Tongue

Just got back from Kissimmee. Ever notice how when you get closer to home from a lengthy trip, the stupid drivers increase in numbers?  Undecided Good to be home. I'm with Chech, the rest of the day will be in recovery mode. BTW, nice haul, Chech. Where did you head out from, Destin?

Welcome home, 2.  No, we went out of Mary Walker's Marina in Gautier, MS.  Just 5 hours from me here.

We fished in 60' of water.  Here's the weird part: the big fish came right to the surface after the chum.  We selected the ones we wanted at that site, and offered them the bait.  We didn't have any undersized fish; none.

That's pretty darn neat. Looks like you'll be eating well for a few days. I think I'm going to take a nap. We crammed in a lot over a short weekend. The inside of my eyelids should look pretty good about now.

Yes, McHale's Navy was one of my favorites.

My daughter worked at Ruby Tuesdays at University Mall when she was in school at Bama and Ray Perkins brought Ernest Borgnine in one evening and my daughter served them. She didn't have anything nice to say about Borgnine but thought Ray Perkins was nice.

Yes, McHale's Navy was great.
The Dirty Dozen photo above reminded me of Thick Wilson, the incompetent captain.  Those exchanges between him and Borgnine were hilarious.

GM fellow weather watchers. RIP Earnie.

FWIW, WV, a recap of the weather you went through would have blown all of our recent weather reports out the window. There's something to be said for weather. Just sayin'......

Morning, 2.  Yes, weird weather this year (too warm during winter; record hot now).  But it's not "global warming".  HTH.  Embarrassed
