FWIW, WV, a recap of the weather you went through would have blown all of our recent weather reports out the window. There's something to be said for weather. Just sayin'...... 

Morning, 2.  Yes, weird weather this year (too warm during winter; record hot now).  But it's not "global warming".  HTH. 

Maybe we should change the name of this to "TWT" (The Weather Thread). That way, there will be no surprises to anyone, concerning the content. Or maybe the "TF&WT" (The Fish and Weather Thread)? Just thinking out loud, here.

Just because WV is grumpy about weather making his state ugly (temporarily), don't quit on the Daily Thread.  There's plenty of room for multiple threads on this forum, and (God help us) CRS will survive until September 1st.

Others can do what they want.  I'll read and contribute to any thread that interests me.  Why not?

Plenty of Chinese spammer trolls maybe, but nobody like dd4bama to have to worry about. No, I like our little thread here just fine.

I've spent a lot of time in rural Hattiesburg, Ms (Dixie Community). You can't sling a dead cat without hitting a rattlesnake. I'm not sure about northern Ms. where you live, but southern Ms. is full of them.

That watermelon photo was taken in south Alabama near Mobile; near enough to Hattiesburg.  They have plenty of rattlesnakes too.


Here's the field we where we picked the melons.  Now you know why we needed the shotgun.
