I bought Frank's Calloway X-18 irons and am hitting them pretty darn good. I shot an 83 last week and I'm looking forward to getting out there again today. BTW Frank is in Sarasota receiving his radiation treatments and is in good spirits. Doc predicts a totally positive outcome when completed.

No, but some of my friends have and they didn't like it. They said there are too many blind holes on it.
Indeed, it has those.  I have a close friend who is a member, so I play there with him when I visit.  Good little course, especially for a former strip mine.

They had big plans for that course when Mercedes opened but the developement around it never happened. I think they thought the strip mine land was more valuable that what it was worth. It's too bad though that it never worked out, it could have been a nice attraction for the T-town area.
