Thanks Leroy & Chech. Tiger Point is on the sound in Gulf Breeze. Water everywhere. The signature hole has an island green, which I parred both times today. I even had a couple of birdies today. It was a good day!

I've never played there, but it sounds a bit like The Legacy Club in Sarasota, FL.  Lots of water, lots of lost balls, plenty of alligators, and a real challenge.  I played there with a friend a few years ago.  It had one of those island holes too.  I don't remember what I shot, but it was worse than 87.

There are 2 courses at Tiger Point. The East course and the West. Hurricane Ivan completely destroyed the West course. They never brought back the back 9 of the West course, which was the most beautiful of any of the 9's. That broke my heart as the best round I ever shot was on that West course. (73)

Too bad.  I was a member of the Isle Dauphine Club at Dauphin Island during the 70s, and played there almost daily.  Hurricane Frederick ruined it.  They rebuilt it and repaired the beach erosion, but it will never have the trees that made it special.

This day is dedicated to Mrs. 2. The price of playing all the golf I want. I just hope we're back from Dillard's, Pier 1, Lowe's, Sam's and Golden Corral in time to see the end of the Open.
