Hey if you need any advice on the electrical let me know. I worked as an electrician for 33 yrs. I was state license in Alabama and Georgia. Ya'll have a great day.

Thanks, Preacher.  All we are doing is connecting sockets and switches.  We ran the wire before we did the walls and ceiling.  Lights are next.

Beautiful day here, only low 90s.  You?

Rain again today. I'm going to look up the total rainfall for the year at Pensacola Airport so far. I'm betting we've had way more than any other place, except maybe Mobile.

2 is drowning, you (Preacher) are getting some rain, and the entirety of the midwest is a desert.

John Daly is -4 at the PGA Championship.  There's hope for us all!  More coffee.

Morning, Chech. Yep, the old boy is having a resurgence. He finished 4th last week at the tourney in Reno.

Can I come up there and play golf? I'm losing what little bit of stroke I had going for me.  Undecided

Come on up.
Several courses at reasonable prices, or pick any cow pasture for free.

Lol! We've got a couple of cow pastures down here that they call golf courses. I try to avoid them. I think I may forego my golf gloves for rain gloves and see if that helps.

Off to work, later.

Me too.  LF wants me to weed eat (a verb?) the perimeter of the yard.  Company coming for the weekend.  Wish me luck.

Gooood Friday morning Everyone  Coffee

Maybe it will dry out in Pcola before long 2...we've got the same forecast over here for the next few days and we've had some rain everyday for the last week and I've had enough of it too.  My rose bushes all look like they are getting some kind of  disease, my azaelias are getting catepillars, my camelia leaves are turning tea colored, my gardenias are getting full of white flies, my squash and cucumbers are getting worms, and all my maters are splitting before they get ripe...and the gnats and skeeter swarms eat you up when you go out in the yard.... I really think I like a good drought better  Undecided

Chech...you should get ya a goat to handle your weed trimming work.  Then after he's through eating all the weeds, you can BBQ him and feed the company...it's a win-win all the way around...HTH  Wink

Y'all have a nice day  Cool

Excellent advise, Leroy!

Well, my appointment postponed our meeting until next week, so I'm not going anywhere. I ran across this story as I was searching through the interwebs. A notable game in Alabama'a storied history, even though we lost it. Check out some of the names. Talk about a blast from the past.

Thanks, Leroy.  My buddy, whose house we've been repairing, has fainting goats.  They're entertaining, sure!  But despite an electric fence, they get out regularly and eat the garden, shrubs, and (lately) peaches.  I think we'll bbq them all!

Forgot to mention new Olympic records for our yard:

My weedeater (Stihl) actually started right up, the line fed out when needed, and I completed the job in 25 minutes.  That's a local record for all 3 events!
