Gameday is here and I'm hoping you will pull the plug on our chance of rain as it comes by you.

The only victory that WK will get today will be a moral victory, they might score maybe once.

The big storms blew through here just after midnight, and now the temperature is below 70 and dropping.  I'm no expert, but it looks like the heavy line of thunderstorms will miss Tuscaloosa this morning.  That'll leave a chance of rain all day; hopefully none of it will be thunderstorms.

Well that is better news than what I saw on the radar when I went to bed last night, there was a huge wall of red headed our way.

Well, just an hour into work we heard a LOUD (repeat for effect, LOUD) explosion right next to the house.  No, it wasn't a coed lighting a cigarette while tossing concrete dust into the air.  
It was a power transformer.  BOOM.

The ground shook.  You could feel the shock wave in your chest.  We lost power, as did the whole neighborhood (sensu WV's region last month).  Seems the rain (yes, still raining) shorted it out.  Wow, excitement.

Good news: I get to watch the entire Aub-MSU game.

The transformer in front of my house flash fried a squirrel and blew, a while back. Sounded and felt like a bomb. Welcome back to our own version of "College Game Day".
