BTW, Craft Farms was once a sod farm, located between Gulf Shores and Foley off of Hwy. 59. They developed the properties (RC Craft and son) in the mid 80's into a Arnold Palmer signature golf course(s) and housing development. It was here that Dr. Gaylon McCollough spoke to the Gulf Coast Atletic Club.

Woke up on the green side of the grass and it's a picture perfect post-card weather morning here in SoWeGa and I've got oysters on ice and I can't wait to watch the Tide Roll...

A bunch of good games today. I can not remember the last time I was looking forward to a Vandy game that did not include Bama. Go Dore's.

Tenn will give us all they got tonight but I don't think it will be enough. I think Bama rolls big.

LSU vs A & M and USCe vs Florida are also good games.

Two quick things that happened today:

1) Little CB played his first two soccer games today. The Granite Baptist School Red Bulls lost game 1 1-0, but won game 2 1-0. LCB manage to kick the ball a short distance a couple of times (AND YES PMULL, HE HAD CLEATS  )

2) Prior to the game, I made a grocery run. I was listening to the Maryland game, and their resident sports chick comes on to tell some of the scores around the country. She says, "Down in Gainesville, the Gamecocks are having a difficult time of it as they trail the Florida Tigers ...."  I will let you guys figure out what is wrong with that statement. And they wonder why nobody takes ACC football seriously.

Soccer at that age is mass hysteria.

Both of mt girls played soccer when they were young. They were not very good but they were decked out head to toe in soccer gear.

Soccer was not around when I was a kid. I think I would have liked playing but it is a boring game to watch at any level.

Church is not as much fun when you can't give the barners a hard time. They are so sensitive they have gone into a shell and refuse to talk football. All they want to talk about is weather and odd stuff I don't care about. When you have the best team in college football I want to talk about it.

Yep, we have all the gear, too. Unfortunately, my boy is one of the smallest kids out there, so he kind of hangs back and doesn't get into the mob around the ball too much (I think he is afraid of being kicked or run over).
