That's the problem, I don't know.  I loaded the washer yesterday, pulling it onto the trailer (it's heavy).  And I loaded the Snapper mower on the trailer today.  I've done lots, but nothing that I know to cause a muscle pull.  As I was power washing, my lower back tightened up (spasms).  Now I can hardly get up and down.  Advise, please.

"Back muscle spasms are characterized by uncontrollable constriction of the muscle fibers. This clenching can become so tight, that the person is literally unable to move. While most muscle contractions last a few seconds to a few minutes, many patients have lasting spasms which endure for hours or come and go unpredictably. Spasms may be linked to movement or might simply occur even when resting in bed."

Bend over with arms extended until you start to feel relief. Repeat when it tightens up. Muscle relaxers help, but can make you feel disconnected or groggy. The heating pad has always worked for me after I've done the extensions.

I'm trying it, thanks.

Just hope the herniated-disc experience doesn't return.  I couldn't put on my socks, sit comfortably, or stand for more than a few minutes.  That lasted for months.

BTW, I don't have any muscle relaxers.  Bourbon, yes.  Rum, yes.  Lots of wine.

Thanks, Preacher, very nice #.

At least you have an excuse.  Mine is a driveway-washing injury.  How stupid is that?

Never stupid my friend it is just the smallest thing we don't think about is bad. First, thing my Doctor told me when I went for my first pain was don't ever wear your wallet in one of your back pockets it throws your spine out of center over the years it will tear you down. RTR!

Did you pick it up wrong or just from hunching over all day?

I don't think I did anything unusual while washing; just tightened up.  Must have been something earlier, like loading the trailer.

The shower?  Wow.

BTW, the storms are back.  Severe ones just north of us,  Cat has her ears back.  She hates thunder.

Hope we get to see the end of this game.  Lady is intent on having Arizona win.  Our satellite is iffy in big storms.
