I also noticed you didn't respond to my suggestion that you seal your driveway after pressure cleaning.  You will be pleased with the results if you do.

It's really easy, you can walk around and spray it on with a Hudson sprayer.    Once your driveway is cracked to hell, it's a very expensive replacement.  Just sayin'

Laughing - I didn't respond to your suggestion of "resealing", because it was never sealed.  It has cracks, but part of that is the 35' width for a parking area.  It's huge.  I did take your comment to heart, and will look into it.  The drive is 20 years old; too late?  I saw some pacles that need a squirt of caulk where rocks popped out this winter; I usually fill each one with caulk to stop further damage; seems to work.

Hey WV, how do you feel about stump grinding?  I am thinking a stump grinder would be an excellent addition to my arsenal in the future, or do you think most people would prefer the stumps are dug up with the backhoe?

I think the grinder is the most preferred, not as messy.

They're about 5k.  I bet the maintenance is a beast too.  But if I remember correctly getting a stump grinded down is expensive.

Morning all. Lots of rain here yesterday, but no severe weather. Not a good day for lawn/land equipment at all. The Weather Channel says today may be no better. I'm glad I have no lawn work to worry about here. BTW, I have a renter for the condo. She moves in MAY1. YAY!

I don't know costs of them, but your patrons would probably want that option occasionally.  For yourself, probably not worth it; rent!

In that case, get some concrete patch or concrete sealer caulk depending on the size and fill in all the cracks and then reseal it.  You can still save the integrity, maybe not the appearance so much.

Or just let it go and start saving up for a new driveway.  Maybe by then I will be doing driveway installation.

When I think stump grinding I think of an existing lawn. One that the owner wants to preserve as best he can. When I think of land clearing I think of stump removal by pulling or digging. Seems everyone I know that has a stump grinder, has the teeth worn down/out. IDK if it is the expense or the trouble but you just don't see them rushing to fix the problem. Not much demand. IDK.

I thought about going into that business once but was discouraged due to the maintenance costs. The teeth for the grinder are quite expensive and they break often, just according to what kind of tress that you are grinding with the breakage problem.

I think the grinder is the most preferred, not as messy.

The cost varies, how many stumps you have and who disposes the mulch from the stumps. I forget what I paid the guy when I cut all my pines down, I had like 50 stumps, but he reduced the price pretty good if I did the cleanup
