Actually the person moving in is actually the HR director where I worked. That's why this happened so fast. Sorry Chech, no sisters.

The cost varies, how many stumps you have and who disposes the mulch from the stumps. I forget what I paid the guy when I cut all my pines down, I had like 50 stumps, but he reduced the price pretty good if I did the cleanup

the clean up is the expensive part.  When I had that black gum that was leaning over my house removed it was more than double to have it hauled off.

Morning all. Lots of rain here yesterday, but no severe weather. Not a good day for lawn/land equipment at all. The Weather Channel says today may be no better. I'm glad I have no lawn work to worry about here. BTW, I have a renter for the condo. She moves in MAY1. YAY!

Phone?  Pics?

Still want the phone number Chech?  Tongue

Well, if it's a beach house, we've got a fishing camp, right?  Next time you have it for a week, we'll all show up (picture that ugly crowd -  Grin).

Limitation for that (besides cash) is weight of the tractor.  Your bucket will work well for most hauling.  It takes a BIG tractor to handle stumps.  My cousin bought a grappler to clean his field after the last hurricane.  Big cost, and he still couldn't lift the biggest pieces of trunks.

Didn't you say your rear end (tractor) was coming off the ground picking up cut logs?

So you drag them out.  I have already removed stumps by working out the roots and then chaining and dragging.  My tractor weighs 7000 lbs and is 45 HP.  It's a not wimp.  They make that bucket for much smaller tractors than mine.

A lot of it is the operator.  And before WV makes fun of me, I have been operating equipment in one form or another for 10 years.  I have a pretty good touch.

That was a whole tree that was 30' tall and 3' around.  And I still dragged it to the fire pile (100 feet or so).

Just saw on ESPN that BYU-Hawaii lost in the finals.  BYU-Hawaii??

Imagine the honor code there.  I googled it.  Among other limitations, "no flip-flop sandals or any worn, faded, or patched clothing on campus".  I would have had nothing to wear.

edit: I couldn't look at her any more.  Deleted the pic.  Might have ruined my breakfast, and it didn't help my aching back.

Yeah. You'll quickly get a feel for your limitations. JMO, but I would try to go with what equip you have for now, and then let the market plea the case for more equipment.

Just saw that Geraldine Ferraro died yesterday.  I had a knife with her name on it - political ad.  It took forever to sell.  I was surprised when I guy selected it.  Then he said, "Think I can get that name off it with kerosene?"

Oh, I agree, plus that thing is out of my price range, I was just browsing everythingattachments.com and drooling.

My next implement will be a woods backhoe, and that's going to take some saving up.
