Good morning and a tip of the cup to each. I hope all of you have some good plans for the weekend. I got an invite to go fishing at a private lake this afternoon, if mother nature doesn't interfer. My friend has to take 1,000 lbs of bass out of his lake, over populated,  and said he needed some help and there's nothing better than helping a friend in need.

Now that's what I call an invitation. I'm currently in Louisville, Ky. Yesterday was for business, this weekend for golf with a friend that lives here. It's hotter here than in P'cola.

 

My daughter has been in Minneapolis all week. Those people are having trouble with the heat wave. They are not used to it. Her hotel is fine but some of the people at the trade show she is at are complaining the AC in their hotel is not keeping the room cool.

She went with a group to see the Twins play the Indians last night.

The northern Midwest and through the Northeast is one big heat wave. Those people really are having a tough time.

Sounds like fun. Is there a lot of big bass or has the over population kept them small?

He has caught some that weighed a little over 12 lbs but he had his lake checked recently by the biologists and they advised to take some out or the quality of his fish would decrease drastically.

The extra hot weather calls for taking extra ice cold aiming fluid for your golfing.

You need to help the old boy out. I hope you reel in a big one or two. There are some huge bass in some of these small private ponds and lakes.
