Morning Leroy, that's a lot of rain. Does the Flint River stay a littlle dingy with all the rain or does it have that Florida black water look?

Morning boys. Everyone try to behave themselves today, and "Keep your heads up and act like champions."

Good advice.

Just got a news item: top-20 party schools (2014 Princeton Review).
No mention of Alabama.  Florida #6; UGA #11; Ole Miss #14.

Chech, do you ever watch the tv show Campus PD?

No, J, I see enough of it at work.

Thanks for the rain wish, Leroy.
I think we're cursed here, 'cause every shower seems to barely miss us.  I'm considering prayers to the Mayan god, Chaac.  Tried everything else.

Morning all. Apparently, I'm last today. I'm back to doing my morning walk. Doesn't take much to work up a sweat, even before daylight.

Nobody gets mugged while having a cappuccino at home.  HTH.

Jamos, for over a year we had daily record low flow conditions here then back in April we had a lot of rain and it has continued through the summer.  The river has stayed full and fairly muddy looking here at my house.  The water color ranges from chocolate milkshake when high to clear green when low...it's been reddish brown from the red Georgia clay runoff for the last couple of months.

That's pretty cool...that location is about 45 miles upstream from me.  The river is much narrower and turbulent up there.

This location is about 4 miles downstream from me and I check it daily...sorry, no camera there...

Keep it up. A brisk walk and a light work out is one of the best things you can do for your health. Nothing wrong with working up a sweat, it is good for you.

Good day, Preacher.
Hope you're feeling better.

Never mind me.  Just trying a new angle on this rain thing.
BTW, this is Chaac (Mayan sky pilot for rain).

About the only thing I have to worry about is the new fox that has taken up residence at the park where the walking track is. He's a small gray fox and we've had a couple of stand-offs with each other, but I think he's cool with me. As far as getting mugged, I don't carry my wallet. They can have my MP3 player if the want it, lol!
