I don't want to hurt little JF but I do want to hit him enough that by the middle of the 3rd qtr he has that deer in headlights look on his face. Kind of like Vinny Testaverde in 1992.

That was Gino Torretta.

You are right.  Embarrassed

Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood Mornin CRS...

I had 2.9 liters of fluid drained on Thursday and was sentenced to bed rest yesterday...supposed to be on light duty today...that should be all I need against tamu.  I probably go both ways for 4 quarters but I'm ready to Roll on goal line defense if needed.

I've got fresh green peanuts boiling on the stove...and I have ribeye steaks marinating and bacon wrapped shrimp for the grill later on...I haven't decided whether this will be a pre-game meal or a victory celebration meal.  I'm hoping we are far enough ahead at the end of the 3rd quarter that I can start cooking.

I hope it's a great day for all of you and that I see you back here after the game with a big ole  Cheesy on your face...

Glad to see you up and about, Leroy. That's some good vittles you got going on there. I'm doing Buffalo wings, Cole slaw and baked beans. Oh, yeah, and adult beverages.

I suggest skipping the steak and putting more of those bacon wrapped shrimp on the grill. I best those babies melt in your mouth. You will need to watch the entire game. You don't want to miss all our scout team players getting a little playing time in the big win.  Cool

Seriously I am glad you are feeling better and hope you have a great weekend.

Great to hear your fingers with us for the big game, Leroy.

I had steak for dinner last night, and leftovers are warming now for lunch.

Great to see you're able to enjoy the game.  Roll Tide.  Cheesy Cheesy

Safe travels, Chech.

It's a beautiful day here in P'cola, as well. 69 degrees. The first time below 70 since probably May.

That's a mighty handsome game ball there, Leroy.  Cheesy

We got banged up some but we have some upcoming games that will provide a chance for the injured to heal and the young players to get some valuable experience. Sometimes early injuries can be a blessing in disguise.

The weatherman has promised some rain this week starting tomorrow but it could affect the game this weekend, hopefully not.
Have a great day everyone.

Morning, J and everyone. I'm glad we got out of there with a win and I'm glad we've got a warm-up game this weekend, because it looks like we'll need it to get ready for Ole Miss. I thought they were a year away from being good, but apparently, I've underestimated them. I hope we get healthy, too, by then.

Anyway, we're 2-0 and life's good!

Not so fast!  It was just Texas.  And before that Vanderbilt.  Laughing

On a serious note, I am sure glad we are playing somebody this week that we could beat even if we stink the place up.  I would hate to play Ole Miss after what we just went through in Texas.
