Morning all. Looks like those of you who made it to T-town had a good day. Could any of you see CNS' red face from your seats during his, ummm, discussion with the offense?

Serious??  I didn't see anything!

My tickets were in section NN10, row 27 (just about 5 rows from the top of the upper deck, endzone).
The blimp was below us!
I couldn't see anything but "ants" down there on the field without my binoculars.
But, let me say this:
 - The sunset was beautiful from up there;
 - I bought a small oxygen tank at halftime, which helped my breathing;
 - The moon is not made of cheese!

Morning Chech and CRS. Coffee

Chech, you're up pretty early this morning, glad you made it home ok. It was great having all of you visit us yesterday, hopefully we can do this again.

The game started out pretty ugly yesterday on the offensive side of the ball but all ended up well. There's plenty of room for improvement when Bama has the ball but I think the defense showed they still know how to play the game. I still like this team even though they look pretty ragged at times and I think they are slowly working their way toward another chance at the big game. Bama's schedule is a blessing this year.

Leroy, I hope you were feeling better and could watch the game and maybe enjoy the win.  Cheesy

Glad you guys had fun. It was a good game and a nice crowd.

The OL seemed to play better after Kelly got hurt and Lindsey replaced him at center. Did anyone else think that? We may have just wore Ole Miss out by then.

I did notice that, but I don't think Ole Miss was worn out. I think Bama changed a few things and it helped, one of them being the snap count. Ole Miss was beating them badly on a short count.

Freshman Eddie Jackson #4 was a good upgrade at corner. I thought he played well.

LOL @ Chechem.  I've sat up there around row 20 before.  Makes the fly overs better, but not much else.

I think the whole team grew up a little last night.  The D was better than I ever expected.  We have a few games now where we can continue to improve before we have to sweat another one out (hopefully).

Coffee

We had a great time in Tuscaloosa.
Thanks much to Jamos for hosting our tailgating party   , to 2Stater for bringing the beer (and drinking it all)   , and to Coach Saban for providing the entertainment.

You weren't looking in the right place, there was plenty of beer. Well, ok you were looking in the right place, but not for beer. BTW, thanks for bailing me out again, even though you said you wouldn't.

J, hats off to you again for a great tailgating. Those wings were off the hook. Thank you very much for inviting my clan and me. We had a blast.

Chech, it was great to finally meet you in person. You confirmed my suspicions, you're taller and better looking than me. I liked you anyway.  Toast 4

Hey I am glad you all had fun. I have never had the pleasure to be at an Alabama game at Legion Field or Bryant-Denney. I did get to go to Auburn one year when the JR. varsity played down there. This was in 1971 I believe. lol, a day or so ago. If the Lord tarries I do plan on making a trip to one game someday. RTR!

You gotta go at least once, Preacher. It's an experience you will never forget. My wife's sister and her family came down from Connecticut for the game. Their daughter (our niece) is a junior in high school and was thinking about going to Bama. They took an official tour of the campus on Friday and enjoyed all the festivities and the game yesterday. They were completely blown away. Looks like our niece will be attending Bama.

BTW, J, my SIL said you were one of the nicest people she has ever met.  Grin

Good rainy morning.  Coffee

We've had 2" of rain since noon yesterday.
It'll be an ugly 2-mile commute to work today.

Looks like a washout!.
