Morning J, Chech, and all

I think the fam and I are going to the National Zoo this afternoon. They have a "Zoolights" program, where they have Christmas lights all over the zoo, plus carousel rides, and a snow tubing ride. We think the little guy will really enjoy it. Though I am dubious as to whether many animals will be out. They will probably be smarter than the dumb humans wandering around in the cold.

I went there often when I worked in DC. 
I used to love to watch the panda slowly eat leaves (reminded me of 2).

Good Sunday morning to everyone. I am rather put out with the weather man. We had an
80% chance of rain yesterday, so I didn't play golf. It never rained. 

I did make that gumbo, though. Delish!!!

We got home late last night after a day at the gun show followed by a night at the Christmas Concert.  So I'm just now having coffee.  Off again for the gun show today.  Hope you all have a good one:

The Christmas concert sounds interesting, I'm a big fan of Christmas music.

It's the annual Tupelo Symphony Christmas Concert.  Wonderful traditional music.  Why don't you and Mrs. Jamos drive over for it next year!

That is a great idea and I think we can make that happen. Thanks for the invite.

Yes the weather is quite iffy anymore, freezing this morning and in the mid 70's this weekend with guess what, rain of course.

Christmas a little more than a week away and I've got all my shopping done. Our 2 out of town daughters will be able to come home this weekend, so Mrs. 2 and I won't be doing the traveling Christmas thing.

Mornin' (barely), everyone.  I left a couple 12 packs of canned sodas in my car last night.  Woke up in the middle of the night with the realization, but didn't want to get dressed to go get them in.  Glad they didn't pop!  Got down to 24 in my neck of the woods.

As bad as I hate winter, I'm at least glad we are getting it seasonally this year. Maybe the cold weather won't drag into May like it did last year.

I will attest to that. Louisiana does have the worst drivers in the country, followed closely by Texas and North Carolina.
