So, now Pell City is out a Pottery School, and Janice Entler must teach pottery classes from her home (which she calls Artscape Gallery).  Who sold the school?

I'm not sure the details, but it was owned by the same family before me forever, the old lady had her pottery classes here and they lived in the house next door I think, or a house across the street that's long gone.  At some point they converted this into their home and split off the house next door to their son.  Who sold it.  Which is why I have a efftard living right next to me and I surround him.

Start finding rattlesnakes in the woods.  Buy some on Ebay, make him believe that all of your tractor work has stirred them from their nests, show him a few as proof, and he'll bail soon.

You know I have never seen 1 snake or snake skin on my property.  They have to be out there you would think.

Is that you?

Yep.

I am anxiously awaiting the sun to see how the driveway held up to the 2 feet of rain we got last night.

Also I dug a trench on Sunday in the back to try and drain the mud hole, it was still dewatering yesterday afternoon.  I think if I run it another foot deeper it may flow almost all the time.

Hummocky clayey soil on top weathered rock.  The water table is all over the pacle back there.  Gonna be fun to play with.

If it is, indeed, spring fed.

If it is, indeed, spring fed.

I am a PG and I live here, so I spend a lot of time considering the hydrogeological dynamics back there, and I am fairly certain that rather than a true spring, it's water coming down the hill on top of the rock and where the rock gets near the surface, the water surfaces.  I am thinking about 2' deep little gully all the way across the property to the pond will dewater the whole the thing eventually, and end up being a trickling creek. (fingers crossed)

I also figured out why the pond is always full.  It flows back out the other side and runs north and feeds another cow pond on another property.  I am going to block it off and raise the level of the pond, just for fun.
