As far as the pole, 2stater and I were thinking about a sign in the parking lot, thats a major road, but my sister pointed out that it wouldn't last long, and reminded me that she used to have a marquee (which met a violent fate).

Unless we could put something on the pole... hmm...

Actually, it's a utility pole, so you probably can't use it for advertising.

Thanks guys.  I thought it turned out pretty well.  Took a shade over 5 hours, but I took my time.  Hardest part was by the road, and I dont know how long that will last.  But those big pot holes are gone.  Cheesy

Tell us it was fun too (which we know it was).

Can't believe you mentioned that pole just as I was typing a similar message - LOL.

Yeah it wasnt bad at all.  The rednecks across the street decided to build a chain link fence, so that was entertaining.  I did a lot of testing of different settings on the box blade too, it definitely wasn't like work.

Box blades are great equipment, especially for moving soil/gravel around a lot or improving a driveway.  You'll find plenty of work for it.

Good job.  Applause E-Cred

Yep, and it has no moving parts.  Just drop and drag, nothing you can do to hurt it.

Thanks.

With the pole being in the easement, that may not be allowable. Let me see what I can find out.

It may take some selling, but maybe I could get her to be down with protective bollards around a nice sign.

Problem is, that parking lot gets jam packed.

Yeah, that will probably be a problem unless she owns any of the land away from the parking lot.

She does, she owns the house next door, she rents it*.  When we get big enough for a shop, we'll throw them out.   The only reason she rents it is because there is a big difference about having it occupied or something I dont know.

Then the sign could go there just off the parking lot if that doesn't create a problem.

Also possible on the other end where there's a fence maybe

You could put up a billboard in the rental yard.  That'd get attention.

I wouldn't recommend this one though. Huh?

I passed on the "butt billboard".  You should google that one.
