Real football, anyway. Although, I have to say that the Abilene Christian - Ga St game was a very entertaining one last night.

Will be heading to Atlanta in the morning for a little golf and Alabama football. I'm really hoping SC finally hits his prediction. Would make the return trip on Sunday very enjoyable.

I watched the last 6 minutes of the Abilene - GA ST game last night. Great finish. GA ST was 9 pts down and game back to win with a FG with just seconds remaining.

Enjoy your trip. Hit em straight and feel free to extent the gimme range to 5-6 foot.

Then it's illegal.

One of my business partners is not a happy camper today. A&M had their way with his Lamecocks last night. He was at the game. May be a long season for Spurrier's over-hyped Cocks.

So Sims starts. How much playing time will Coker get, and how early in the game will we see him?

After watching Bo Wallace try to single-handedly give away the Ole Miss game, I'm concerned.  Our QBs need to come out with confidence, establish leadership, and put the game away early.  We don't need to go into the 2nd half with a close game and 2 QBs who can't find a receiver.

My guess is Sims will look better than we've ever seen him, hit a dozen short passes in the first half, and run up a SuperCoach-esque score.  Coker will look like a strong-armed bench warmer.

I'm really hoping for the 2 headed monster. Lots of playing time for both. Will give Coker more experience in the system.

That's the model of general consensus.  Thus, by midseason Coker becomes the starter and leads us to a NC this year and next.

Just hope we see some flashes of brilliance (like the metaphor?) in game 1.

So far the way the SEC looks I am glad they made the playoff. Makes feel better when we win some of the lighter team games we can still get in. RTR!

I'm glad CNS is starting Sims, he's in his 5th year and has earned the right to be a starter. Whether he will be the starter at the end of the year is anybody's guess but he deserved to start the first game of the season.
