20 bucks a ton for #57.  Seems steep to me.
The only alternative is to auger several 3-5' holes in your bedrock. Insert dynamite. Then do the crusher run manually. Hope this helps.
They charge extra for early AM deliveries.

Is the $20 per ton price delivered?  I'm guessing no with fuel prices the way they are and the amount of fuel those dump trucks use.

Naw. Only $10-11-12 if you p/u yourself. $20 seems reasonable but I thought for deliveries you needed a 15-18-20 ton minimum.

They have a smaller truck and will deliver as little as 5 yards.  I got 8 yards today which is the most the smaller truck will hold.  After that you either get another small truck or 1 big one.  The big one only travels full (26 tons).

I have photos pre-pipe and after pipe and before rock, but they are on a real camera and not uploaded yet, use your imagination. Smiley

Yes, that's a clean out, I wanted one, so I put it in.  The gravel around it is the shallow end of the trench, it will act like a drain right there for everything outside the fence, which will go at the front of the car port, which will be moved to right to be against the wall.

Yep, lots of work.  It looks good.

BTW, how did your new ditch (creek, stream, crick) handle the rain?

You mean the fence will still be perpendicular to the wall, but on the other side of the carport?

Is that perforated, corragated pipe? If not, I don't understand the use of rock. If it is perforated, I don't understand the drainage issue you are trying to solve. Water off the hillside collecting by the back door?

No problem, Preacher.  If you've got a 20-year-old son who can play QB like an All America, we can make a donation to your church, plus we have a man in Pell City who can do the job gratis.  Grin Grin

No, the fence will be in the same pacle it used to be, except go all the way to the wall and be wood, the carport will move up against the wall.

It is perforated french drain pipe.  My back yard flooded every time it rained and stayed that way for weeks until I dug a shallow trench 2 years ago by hand.  I am opening that trench up and running it a little deeper and installing the french drain.  Stay tuned, it goes around the corner and down the hill It will be 200+ feet long and empty into the right of way drainage.

The groundwater comes out of that hill, spring style.
