I sold one knife while setting up, then spent the afternoon and evening with a friend in Memphis/Germantown.  He has a museum of vintage cars, plus a huge knife collection.  We had dinner late, then I drove home - exhausted.  Back at it today.

Austin beat Bob Jones 28-24 on the road last night. Bob Jones was 9-0 and ranked #1 in 7A. Austin finishes the regular season 7-3 and full of momentum headed into the playoffs. Austin was ranked #10 in 6A last week. They have won their last 5 games.

Austin started the season by beating Spain Park who ended the regular season 9-1 with Austin being their only loss. They were ranked #2 in 7A behind Bob Jones last week. A pretty good way to bookend the season.

The playoffs start next week.

Looks like Halloween is bringing in lots of rain today, not good for the kiddies.

With Bama having an open date, I'm kind of lost this morning with my normal game day routine. I played some golf yesterday afternoon and had a good time so maybe I can try that again this morning.

Have a good day everyone and for all of those that have little ones to Trick or Treat with, don't eat up their candy.

Not really, maybe a little golf again today providing the weather is permitting. I shot an 81 yesterday despite the the problem I'm having with my left hand, thanks to some Aspercreme and Ibuprofen. I had 3 birdies but some double bogies took care of the value of those. I'm glad Mrs. 2 could make the trip up your way, give her a big hug for me.

I sure have missed being here but after my computer went down in the sleep mode and wouldn't wake up, I borrowed my daughters computer and it went in the sleep mode and wouldn't wake up just like mine did. So I was out. The man fixing mine was kind enough to lone me this laptop so I could get back online. RTR!

God never meant for me to be awake at 3:30, or whatever time it is now.  But I'm up and wishing not.  Couldn't sleep.  It'll be a long day.
