Or you just rent a backhoe and pull it with the bucket from on top of the driveway.
You cannot charge too much for cleaning a culvert. Otherwise, the potential customer will just buy new culvert. Here, the state will come and dig out the old and drop the new for free.

Expanding on Smitty's idea: If you, drove a dead man (5' pipe)  with a sheave wheel attached, you could winch from road level. May be on to something.

yeah that works.  You'll have to find hard ground though.  I just drove my tractor NEAR the right of way ditch and water shot out of the ground. I think we found where the "gray water" water is going.  I am dumping chert by the bucket and running it down.  I will do this until it's solid in my yard.

Thought of this. You wouldn't want to clean one out soaking wet, anyway.

Man, you guys have been busy in my absence. It's taken about 45 min. just to catch up on this thread. Glad to be back home. In-laws are great but exhausting. Highlight of the trip was our golf outing yesterday. Shot a 76 and came within a frog's hair of getting my 2nd hole-in-one. Don't know what came over me. Anyway, it's good to be back.

Are you on the seniors tour?  Applause E-Cred You said back on TS that pre-Jan. 1 was your busy season (Santa Claus?) but you didn't say you were taking the rest of the year off to golf and fish. RTR

Not even a Mully. WV, I've been on a 3 year mission to get rich in SC which has taken me away from my family for the most part. The get rich part didn't happen, but I made enough where I am taking an extended vacation before I get re-involved in the insurance business again. I really am enjoying my family, the golf and fishing very much, while doing some marketing for a few people. You guys here at CRS help me keep my sanity (ironic ain't it?) Have some #'s.
