Coffee

Looooong day at the gun show yesterday, then met LF for the Christmas symphony.  Beautiful music, children singing, cello solo, Chech snoring...

Then loooong drive home last night, and up again today for the Sunday edition of the gun show.

I'm watching the replay of the Heisman now...

Morning Chech. Coffee

To hear you say, "Looooong day at the gun show yesterday", makes me think it must have been a disappointing day for you. Maybe today will be a better day.

Now that the Heisman chase is over, it's time to get serious on the football field. I hope the preparation for the Michigan State game is better than the Ohio State game was last year.

Enjoy your day and safe travels to you.

Prayers for all today, life's challenges are very difficult and demanding. Pray  Cheesy

No, it was a good day for me (albeit a slow show).  But I got up at 3:30 yesterday, and didn't get into bed until after 11PM.  I was worn out!  I ain't Derrick Henry, ya know!

Guess that deer didn't show up for Mrs. J, eh?  We're waiting for pics.

Hope everyone has a great day.  And just as Derrick Henry said in his final words at the podium last night:

"ROLL TIDE".

Nice to wake up knowing that King Henry won the Heisman. That is a nice birthday present for me.  Grin

Now, as J said, it's time to get serious about the game. Last year, the team supposedly practiced and prepared for all 3 teams. That may have been what did them in. I'm betting that CNS has them solely concentrating on MSU. There's 2 weeks between games, which is plenty of time to prepare for the next opponent. I really like our chances this year!

J, if Mrs J bagged one, save me some moose nuggets!

Chech, good luck at your show and be safe!

ROLL TIDE, y'all!!!

Actually we saw a couple of bucks but they were out of range (200-250 yds) for her to shoot at. The one deer was a big size buck but I never could see his horns, the other was a spike. I've been really surprised at her interest in hunting. We've got 6 weeks of the season left so maybe she will get another chance to shoot.

Congrats 2.  Now you can vote.  Or have a midlife crisis.  Or retire.  Sorry, I get confused these days.

I'm afraid we won't get to dodge this one like we did the last. The rain is far off yet but the wind is really howling.
