Good morning and praying all my friends and family is safe. From 1 AM till about 5 minutes ago here at Fruithurst we had rain all that time that was in the deeper reds colors. I do not have a rain gauge but it must have rained at 4 to 5 inches. We will have major flooding in this area for sure. Please everybody be careful today. RTR!

Hope the flooding is minimal, Preacher.

J, I agree.  That tornado was on the ground for 100 miles or more, and only a few killed.  Fortunately, it missed the most-populous regions.  For those it hit, it was disaster.

Prayers indeed, for the victims and families.  Pray

Like J said, hopefully, this storm has lost it's punch. Very sad that these fatalities happened right here at Christmas. Will make it even tougher for friends and families to deal with.
 Sad

Preacher, I hope everything will be ok in your area.

Merry Christmas Eve, everyone!

Merry Christmas to all indeed. Cheesy

Santa stopped by and everyone was pleased with what he left. Kiss

Hope everyone enjoys this special day and our prayers go out to all of those that were in the path of the recent deadly storms. May God's blessings be with all of them during their recovery of the disaster and loss of loved ones. Pray

Merry Christmas!  68 degrees here on Christmas morning and raining so hard that we can't get an adequate signal for satellite TV.  I believe I heard yesterday that this is set to be the warmest Christmas, nationwide, in recorded history.

Hope any of you who are travelling will remain safe, and that everyone has a joyous time with people they love.

Well it is a nice quiet morning in the Preacher's House this morning. Headed to church later to celebrate the birth of our Saviour then to see what the day holds. RTR!

Merry Christmas all!

Pouring rain here.  Not sure when the last time it rained like this on Christmas.  It's raining buckets.  Not cats and dogs, rhinos and elephants.

Merry Christmas, everybody! Rain has stopped and its 81 degrees here. Grandson must have been very good because Santa brought him a truckload of good stuff. Apparently, I wasn't too bad either.  Cool

Best wishes to all of you! It's a great day of celebration of our Lord's birth. I hope all of you have the merriest of Christmases!

Mrs. J and I have been blessed to have our granddaughter and hubby bring our great granddaughter (1 year old) to celebrate Christmas this year. What a time we have had.  Cheesy

Good morning.  Coffee

We had a great Christmas day, ate TOO MUCH, exchanged gifts, and had a crowd all day.  By 9PM last night we'd had a long day, then settled to watch the 2005 version of King Kong.  Fun laughing and being together.  We did manage a couple of walks yesterday, albeit humid and warm (70 degrees).  I was sweaty after just walking a few hills.

Today it's back to football.  Jamos is running away with the bowl trophy (so far).  And 2 is just getting started!

Have a fun day.

We had a few people over, as well. Seemed pretty weird frying a turkey, wearing shorts (me, not the turkey).

I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas as much as we did!

Morning all!! Coffee

What a couple of days of turbulent rainy weather. We had a bad storm that went just below us last evening that ended up with some damage close to the Mercedes plant and then hit some homes in the west Birmingham area. Fortunately there were no serious injuries to anyone, mostly structural damage to some homes. After that one, we had another one that got pretty close to our home but it fizzled out. We were like most folks across the state though with lots of rain but we are all safe.

Chech, the only thing that Jamos is running away with is the most pounds gained during Thanksgiving and now Christmas. It far exceeds any football games. New Years Day will bring on a whole new meaning to my diet. Wink

We are going to take our great granddaughter to McDonalds this morning for breakfast so she can climb through all of their climbing toys. It should be very entertaining. Have a great day everyone and do be safe on the wet roads if you must travel today. Pray Cheesy

Glad y'all escaped the severe weather, J. The pic you sent me of your great granddaughter in her Bama cheerleading outfit was great!  Cheesy
