I agree with you Chech, thank you Chaac. The weather really looks to be a mess north of our area, it will be a long day for those folks and those toward the Northeast.

In regard to the basketball game last night, the worst thing that could happen to Bama happened, a free throw shooting contest. Bama has struggled at the line all season and that's where the game was played last night and you know Bruce Pearl just loved it, Bama loses by 6. Sad

Hope everyone dodges the bad weather today and let's pray for all of those north of us that will have to deal with it. Pray

The game wasn't televised here, so I guess I was spared all the anguish. I've said it before and I'll say it again here, basketball is they least true sport on the planet because of officiating. It appears from what you guys have posted that once again, this was the case in the game. Sad!

Looking at the radar, you guys are indeed getting the rain. Looks like the freezing precip line is the Tennessee state line. Glad y'all are being spared the frozen stuff.

Sorry you missed the game, 2.  I turned it on after I got home (about 10PM), in time to see the finish.  I did not watch the Aub celebration.

That appears accurate.  They have revised Huntsville's forecast to likely rain, nothing freezing, but north and east of here could be freezing.  Might be some freeze in the higher elevations, especially N.E. Alabama.

We are suppose to get rain today through Friday. I also noticed on Channel 4 news this morning out of Oxford, Al of course that Cleburne Co. High School may be moving to a new classification. It said they would be moving up to Class 5A. Wow, they won't ever win another ballgame. RTR!

SNOW coming our way.  Today we get cold rain, then it will start snowing late tonight.  Hopefully we'll only get a dusting, because LF and I are off to Tupelo on Friday.  I DO NOT WANT TO GET STUCK IN TUPELO.

No recruiting news yet today.  But expect it very soon!

Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

Where's Jim Cantore when we need him?  The forecast for the past 24 hours was for rain until 8AM today, then changing to snow later.  LF and I need to drive to Tupelo ahead of the snow.

BUT it's already below freezing, and the deck is covered by sleet.  Now it's snowing.  CRAP!!

We need a real weatherman!!   Sad

5:17 update:

Didn't take long.  The sleet turned to heavy snow, and now the deck is completely covered with snow.  Already Hwy 78 / I-22 (Memphis to B'ham) is closed near Memphis.  Wind at 20 mph.

Wow, that was fast.  It isn't supposed to get here for another 12 hours, but they're keeping an eye on it.
