Thought I better check in with you guys. Snowmageddon began around 2 pm (1pm Bama time) here and has been steadily falling since. Flakes are not yet huge, and wind has been calm SO FAR. I figure we have somewhere in the area of 1.5 inches right now, but the weather persons continue to say that it is going to get worse later tonight and into tomorrow morning. We are hunkering down for a long weekend at la casa de cbbama.

  We are actually having snow flurries right now. I'm betting you can find neither at Walmart right now.

Good morning. 

Got home last night through the slush and idiotic drivers.  Ice and snow on the road, and knuckleheads passing me going 80 mph!  Amazing!

No surprise that cars were off the road, down the embankments, spun out in the median, upside down alongside the road, and smashed into bridge abutments.  AND IT WASN'T THAT BAD A ROAD!

Glad you made it home safe Chech.  Usually, it's not the weather, but other drivers, that are the biggest worry.

We have maybe 6 inches of frozen snow on the ground this morning, none on the roads, although the sheriff is saying that roads east of here, and north of Highway 72, are impassable. 

I let the dogs out this morning, the ground was frozen, the wind was howling, I'm surprised they went straight out.

Middle Tenn area is mainly shutdown, and we have light snow falling. Be safe if you have to get out, and watch out for the crazies trying to drive

Glad all of y'all in the frozen tundra are ok. Other than a flurry or 2 of snow last night, it's just cold and windy here. We had a low of 31 and it's 33 now. No golf today.

Morning gents. We have about 14 inches around our place right now and it is still falling. I think we may end up with 18 inches before it is all over. We still have power so far. Hey 2, we already had milk and bread, but I went to the store Wednesday night to get some extra, ahem, drinks, and there wasn't a loaf of bread to be found.

Well I hope all is warm and holding up for this weather. We have our soup and coffee and Netflix and right now just snow on the grass mainly. My sister lives in Clarksville, TN but I haven't heard yet. Hopefully we get to go to church tomorrow. RTR!

The most I've ever seen was a foot of snow. It shut Greenville, SC down for 10 days.
