I was out there the day after Xenia, Ohio was blown away by a tornado (1974).  There were HUGE swells.  Our boat overturned on Sand Island.

Wow! Nobody hurt, I hope?

Stitches in my buddy's foot (broken windshield) and much education about power of waves.

 

That had to have been very scary. I've been on a couple of deep sea fishing trips where we had no business being out there. Big swells were tossing the boat and people were tossing their cookies.

I think Kirby knows that too. If you look at who he is going after, it's players at the position where we are in good shape. It's easy to convince a QB that he will be waiting a while for his turn behind Barnett and hurts, and a RB that they will be playing behind Bo, Harris, and the incoming class. Looks like Kirby is choosing his battles, so far.
