How's the gun show going so far, Chech, or does it start today?

It opens to the public today, but we set up yesterday.  I visited with a friend at the show who lost his wife last month (ugh), and bought a fine knife from him: CASE 1965 Folding Hunter with stag handles.

Very nice! Sorry for his loss, though.

Yeah, tough stuff.  It's his first time out.  His daughter is with him, which helps.  We're all buddies; the 3 of us spent an evening in Memphis last fall.

It's a bit cold but at least there's no bad storm warnings and the sun is shining, thank you Chaac.

Chech, have fun at the show and good luck on finding something rare today. The Case knife in your picture brings back some good childhood memories as that particular knife seemed to be the favorite of most of the men who carried a knife and most of them were always whittling on something. Prayers for your friend and family.

2, I'm guessing you might try to hustle up on your golf buddies today and if so, hit'em straight and not too often.

Mrs. J and I will be at the ball park this afternoon to watch the ladies try and extend their performances from yesterday. With this weather today I'm expecting a very big crowd, lots of the little ones with the big dreams of playing for Bama one day.

I remember my daddy caring one of those 3-blade Case XX knives all his life. It was razor sharp too. He use each blade for different things too. Well we are off to visit today so hope all has a great and glorious day. RTR!

"The actual item is described as a knife. I'm not going to go into the description of the knife because that could be germane to determining whether or not this actual piece of evidence is in fact evidence or is just a facsimile or a made up story," Los Angeles police Capt. Andy Neiman said.

Police learned within the last month that an ex-Los Angeles traffic officer received the item from a construction worker who found it "back in the 90s," possibly when the estate was being demolished, Neiman said. The home was razed in 1998.

Yeah, when I first heard about it, I thought the knife was just recently found. Wonder why nothing's been said or done about it since the late 90's?

Morning to both of you and just how good is this weather we are having? I know it is short term but it sure is nice. We will be at the softball field again this afternoon and hopefully start another win streak.
