I planted a peach tree

What variety?  Where?  Pics?

Don't make me ask for pics again, young man. Grin

Georgia.

On the other side of the out building near the property line.  Not a lot of excitement associated with it, at this time.

*** BREAKING not-surprising NEWS ***

Strong thunderstorms likely. Damaging winds, large hail, and possibly a tornado with some storms. Low around 65F. Winds S at 15 to 25 mph.

What, again?  There is another wall of storms approaching.  It's turning over house trailers in Arkansas and crushing inbreeds.  It'll be here tonight.  We have a tornado watch already.

Are you SURE you haven't run over any frogs?

This is an excellent point.  Perhaps the care I take in making sure the frogs are happy around here has something to do with the storms going around us?

No, neither have I run over any frogs or stepped on any witch's feet.  Whatever the cause, it's coming at us like a freight train.  Again.

Look, wise guy, if you want botanical help, at least mark the sarcasm with a wink or write the word, "wink" after the sarcasm.  Apparently "Georgia" was sarcasm.  I went to the trouble of looking among the 2000 varieties of peaches to see if yours is self-fruitful or not.

Good thing you're not excited about it, because it would likely produce only ~3 wrinkled fruits without a nearby stud peach tree.  With a stud, its branches would be loaded and we could have some of Preacher's cobbler.  But that's not possible now, is it?

BTW, I'm W-AAAA-Y better at solving your problems with fish and shrimp than botanical issues.

While waiting for Smitty to download the pics, we all sat and gnawed on some fresh fish and had a glass of lime juice.  Very refreshing.
