I am glad I can't watch TV EXCEPT on football Saturday. Good morning everybody. Sat on my front porch this morning had coffee. Wind was blowing nicely and leaves was falling. Wife and I was enjoying the peace. Yippity do dah! RTR!

 

Best way to enjoy life.

Yes sireeee. I also did something this morning I haven't done probably since the 1960's. I watched a Jonny Quest cartoon.  RTR!

No, Preacher, nobody knows for certain.  Likely it will hit Cape Hatteras, then head east and turn southward.  No steering winds aloft!

The storm is dumping LOTS of rain on cities surrounding the Chesapeake Bay this morning, but it's moving eastward now.  Should be out to sea soon, and then maybe it'll die!

Back to the gun show this morning.  

Man, it's a chilly 49 degrees here.  No wonder it was cool when I awoke.
I'll bet Ricky and Miss Dottie don't sit on the porch in these temperatures!

Morning all.

What a day of some wild football. It seemed that no matter which game you chose to watch there were plenty of highlight plays.

Mrs. J and I managed to go to the river again early yesterday morning to fish for a little while and it was a beautiful morning to say the least. We managed to catch a few small ones early and then the wind came up that sent us to the house. We also watched the softball team open their season with the Fall Brawl yesterday afternoon against MTSU and had a great time there as well. It seemed strange not seeing McCleney and a couple of others on the field but it looks like CPM has gotten some good replacements for them. They will play another double header this afternoon against Spring Hill I think. They are no match for Bama but it will be fun to watch the new ones find their way on the team. The football team had a lot of highlight plays last night but they also gave up a bunch of them. It was a great win on the road but we've got to shore up the defense a little. There are more tough games just like this one just ahead for the team.

The cool air feels wonderful this morning and I hope everyone has  a wonderful day.

Mrs Dottie just walked out to pet the pups and see the thermometer and it is 44 degrees here on the knob. The knob weather caster has spoken. RTR!
