One of my co-workers just came in.  His house is half a mile north of mine.  He had to get a ride to work.  Trees are down across his drive, and (of course) he has no power either.  Must have been a torbado or s-l winds that blasted us at 2:30.  He got it worse.

Sirens still.  Lots of water everywhere out there.  Glad I'm in here.

Just got a text from Smitty. A tornado hit nearby and knocked out all power & internet. Everyone is ok. I'm on the toad but stopped to fill you guys in.

Bad news.  Lady just called.  The big oak in our back yard is down.  It's a huge Scarlet Oak.  The only good part of that is that it fell away from the house.  She was upset.  Just told her, "More firewood for us."

not sure on the Miss. toll but I did hear one died ...

I've been watching a couple of live feeds from some storm chaser buds
seeing some pretty bad damage up Smitty's way , Arab , Al. too
