More football today. Oklahoma should embarrass the barn and USC should handle Penn State. Iowa and Florida should be a tight one and Wisconsin should manhandle Western Michigan, even though WMU is undefeated. The big one is a week from today, and it won't be easy. Hard to believe that the college football season is almost over.

It is horrible here again this morning with fog and moisture. My hip and back is singing the blues by BB King for sure. Hey this is the 2nd day of a whole new year so everybody be safe and have fun. RTR!

Good morning. 

First, prayers to those killed by the storms last night in Rehobeth, AL (near Dothan).   

It was stormy here all day too, with temperatures in the 60s, lightning, heavy rain, and strong winds.  Just nasty weather, and weird for January.  Snow is predicted for this Friday-Saturday.  Now it's foggy and 60 degrees.

Some good football yesterday.  Best game (by far) was the Rose Bowl.  USC came from 2-TDs behind to beat PSU at the final gun.   
The BIG-10 officially FAILED.   

And Kiffin is gone.  It's a new era in Alabama offense!

We went through several severe storms yesterday and a tornado warning, We've had 8 inches of rain over Sunday and Monday. We are saturated.

Yep, the USC game was a terrific game. They never gave up and it paid off. The barn was toast after White left the game. Not sure it would have mattered anyway.

Indeed, prayers to the family of the 4 killed in Rehobeth.

Glad your all safe. It will cool off sometime but right now I enjoy what warm we have and NALT I hope yall stay warm. I hate to hear about people being killed. We have to be ready to go at all times. Well now that all the foolish games are over I am ready for the big one. RTR!

Good morning. 

Nice to be back on schedule this week.  The holidays are over, and now we can concentrate on the natty. 

Finebaum and the other talking heads are TOTALLY baffled by the dismissal of Kiffin.  Finebaum thinks the kettle finally boiled over and Bama is better for it.  Luginbill thinks Saban acted on an impulse and we're screwed. 

Bottom line: We laid an egg on offense against Washington, and Kiffin got the blame (as he should).  Now we've removed the problem and can focus on Clemson.  We'll be fine. 

BTW, Sark is known as a smash-mouth coach who goes for the throat.  Expect us to play more power football and throw deep occasionally.  Woot.

Good morning folks.  Cold front moved through and Preacher and I are miserable.  On top of that, the heater in my truck IS NOT BLOWING WARM AIR so when I got to work I was freezing!  Oh well, at least I am in a warm building... "Back on schedule" Chech?  You're retired now so what exactly is your "schedule?"  Wake up, fix a cup of coffee, decide which lake or stream you'll fish in today, eat dinner, go to bed?
