Retirement must be when you get to use all of the tools you have spent a lifetime collecting.  I have a brand new fancy band saw that I bought a couple of years ago that is still sitting in the box unopened in the garage.  I hope there really is a band saw in there because if it is just a box of rocks I'm in trouble.  It is too late to send it back now.

I have enough tools to build a spaceship, but I don't have time to unpack them and make sure they work.  But by the time I get to retirement, I will have a shop that makes Norm Abrams feel unequipped.

Maybe Chech can come over and unpack your band saw, take it home to test it out, and borrow your tools. Of course, you'll never see them again, but at least they'll see some action.

He probably already has enough tools to build a colony on Mars.

I have quite a few woodworking tools myself.  I just recently bought a bandsaw off of "govdeals.com" and got to drive to south Georgia to pick it up.  Been wanting/needing one for some time.

Prolly. If the movie is any indication, I know I can. Their colony was mostly plastic sheeting.

Looks like I'm the odd man out. I can't get my new can-opener to work.

How hard can these be to operate?  Huh?

Where's the soft rubber handle?  Too bad my electric can-opener died.

Coffee

Okay, it's officially winter and officially COLD.  Staying in the 30s all day, and likelihood of snow by daylight tomorrow.  I have a gun show near Memphis tomorrow; gotta drive up there tomorrow morning -- ugh.

BTW, the weather in Tampa looks excellent: cool and clear.  Not sunny, though.    Night game.
